The Department of Computer Science at Cornell is again organizing a support program for student applicants from marginalized backgrounds to receive a pre-application read-through and feedback from current Ph.D. candidates in the department. The application is due anytime before midnight on November 6, 2021.
The Student-Applicant Support Program aims to assist students from marginalized backgrounds as they apply to Cornell’s CS Ph.D. program. A graduate student volunteer may provide one round of meaningful feedback on an applicant’s resume and statement of purpose. Please note, participation in the Student-Applicant Support Program does not guarantee admission to the CS doctoral program and our capacity for reviewing applications is limited.
Also note that information shared with the department will be aggregated and anonymized to evaluate the impact of this program, but individual responses will be deleted at the end of this application cycle. All demographics questions are optional.
Thank you for applying.
